For March’s GMD Los Angeles Tour, we’re heading to visit the brand new Marciano Art Foundation (MAF) to tour Olafur Eliasson: Reality Projector and Albert Oehlen/Peppi Bottrop: Line Packers exhibitions.
MAF was established by Maurice and Paul Marciano, founders of GUESS? the lifestyle brand, to hold and grand public access to the art collection they have collected over years their GUESS? lifestyle brand as growth. In addition, the present a rotating and thematic exhibitions which Olafur Eliasson: Reality Projector and Albert Oehlen/Peppi Bottrop: Line Packers exhibitions are part of. We will meet at MAF’s courtyard (please review map). This month’s special guest is Evelyn Evelyn Escobar-Thomas, lifestyle blogger of EveMeetsWest, where to talks about all things related to sneakers, streetwear culture, life, and self-love. 11:00 – 11:15 pm Meet ’n Greet
We’ll meet at MAF’s sculpture garden outside of main entrance on Lucerne Blvd. Please arrive on time since we have only 15 minutes before exploring the exhibition. Find GMD’s founder Diane Lindquist waiting to meet y'all. There you will briefly introduce yourself, describe what you are passionate about, and your current art obsession before we proceed inside the museum. Once inside, we will be greeted by MAF’s curators and briefly inform us about the MAF’s conduct and introduce the exhibitions we will be visiting.
11:30 – 1:50 pm Exhibition Exploration

1:50 – 2:00 pm Announcements
At this time we will briefly have announcements of upcoming gatherings and walk towards the gift shop for those who want to visit it.
2:00 – 2:30 pm MAF Cafe (optional)
It’s totally optional but MAF has a cafe that those who want to stay a little longer can join GMD’s founder for some late lunch and chit-chat.
Parking
There is free parking available in the lot directly behind the Foundation, accessible off of Lucerne. The parking gate will be open 15 minutes before 11 am.
